1000s that’s okay because it was a small percentage. However, why should those 100 have been hurt? Where do you draw the line? What is an acceptable percentage of injuries or deaths to you?
We don’t ascribe to percentages. Every animal hurt is an animal that did not deserve to be. Period.

wow!! seriously dude?! Things like…what we humans call accident happen all the flippin time…but you had to go and say “its promoting animal abuse”….really…how?? And did it ever occur to you that maybe when the rider was leaving the arena..that maybe he had been told too and let the professionals handle it? i mean…seriously? okay some animals may get hurt in sporting events. But how many out of all the animals use in sporting events really do get hurt in an abusive nature or hurt. Out of the hundreds of thousands of animals used for these events how many get hurt? Show me those figures then just maybe you may be able change some peoples minds. but iI am a Rodeo fan, been born and raised. Have been riding since i was 2 yrs old by myself, never have i hurt one of my animals on purpose.

Accidents happen. An accident can happen to anyone or anything it could happen in car races it could happen in dog races it can happen when you are walking down the road. Rodeo is a sport just like any other sport and crazy things are going to happen. I have been around rodeos since i was born I have seen accidents happen and how bad we all feel when they happen the safety of the animals always come first so you cant say that we do not take care of them.

Thats absolutely horrible. I cried when i seen this. Its such a tough world out there, you just never know whats going to happen. My aunt was training a pony once, the pony totally reared up, craches into an electric fence, knocked them them, one of my horses, bruce, trampled over her legs. Now shes paralized from waste and down.
